Welcome to our little corner at The Bedford Pub! We’re Rev Sue and Rev Sarah, your local parish priests, and we can’t wait to connect with you every fortnight. Whether you’re curious about our community or just want to grab a pint and chat, we’re here for it!

Sharing stories and laughter is what brings us together, so don’t hold back! We’re excited to learn about you and share a few of our own tales along the way. Come as you are, and let’s try and make sense of life together.

Formally a Deputy Head, Sue loves to meet new people, to hear their stories and to talk with them about Jesus. Previously a teacher of Religious Studies and Philosophy Sue loves a good debate and when it is accompanied by a glass of wine or a G&T then even better.

Sarah was previously a barrister, practising civil law, before going on to work for the Government Legal Department. Sarah is married to Rob and has two young sons, Joey and Adam. She has a particular interest in the Middle East and Southeast Asia, having spent time in both regions.  Sarah loves talking to others about their experiences of God (especially over a pint).
